USC coach, Pete Carroll resigned to his position as the coach for the football team. His decision comes of no surprise to many people being that the reason that he resigned was to coach for the Seattle seahawks for the NFL. Therefore, he will get paid better than coaching for USC. The resignation is very important probably to those that are fans of football or even just specifically fans of USC.
The official resignation of the coach was made publicly on television. Although, to some people the news can be of disappointment because coach Carroll led the USC football team to a winning streak. Some might believe that without coach Carroll the team might not continue that streak.
